DTMR Tom rates how Wanderers fared against the Latics
Joel Coleman - 5
Had next to nothing to do. When a solitary half chance rose for Wigan, Humphrys got there first
Josh Dacres-Cogley - 4
Far too safe with the ball in possession, static without it. Seems averse to taking on his man.
Gethin Jones - 4
For the second time in four days, Jones was caught out of position for an opposition goal.
Rico Santos - 7
Dealt easily with Magennis. Tried to lead out from the back in possession, but too many of his teammates went into hiding.
Eoin Toal - 6
Should have scored a free header, could have scored a thunderbolt. Solid performance. Like Rico, didn't deserve to be on the losing side.
Nathanael Ogbeta - 6
Struggled in the first half against McManaman's basic wing play. Grew into the game and got crosses into the box in the second half. Nearly beat Tickle at his front post.
Josh Sheehan - 7.5
Tried to take the game by the scruff of the neck, but let down by those around him.
George Thomason - 6.5
Chased and harried, but ineffective in possession. His 16th yellow card of the season was more rugby tackle than foul. His discipline is a real issue holding his undoubted talent back.
Paris Maghoma - 4
Went into hiding. Not the sort of player you'd want to go to war with.
Victor Adeboyejo - 4
When Sheehan found him with a piece of magic, Adeboyejo let him down. Ineffective.
Carlos Mendes Gomes - N/A
Subs:
Aaron Collins - 4
Just isn't on the same wavelength. Let's hope that changes.
Kyle Dempsey - 3
Did nowt.
Jon Dadi Bodvarsson - 3
See above.
Cameron Jerome - 4
Did more in 11 minutes than the other forwards all game. A sad state of affairs.
